T-car air con - same system?
Discussion
This'll test your techy knowledge. Is the aircon system the same in all the T cars? Would it simply be a case of finding a breaker with a complete system from any of the cars and bolting it straight into a different one?
My guess is that the mechanical bits are the same, but I'm not sure about the pipework.

Some of the pipework is different, I had to get some pipes made up when I replaced my coolant radiator.
The pipes on the A/C had galvanic corrosion as the pipes and the condenser are different materials. Racing green didn't have the pipes on the shelf and sent me a number of others that were incompatible. Power at the time said they "may" be able to get pipes made up if i sent the originals. in the end i used another online supplier by just sending my requirements although they weren't cheap!

The only common parts are the pump, coil and evaporating valve block. The condensers are different sizes, the driers are different, 350 and Sag are behind the reg plate where the Tuscan is inside the LHS of the service bonnet and the pipes are different, both hard and flexible.
I found parts hard to source but RG had most in stock.
