My car goes back this week to have the remaining niggles sorted (2 weeks in and the number of niggles is now manageable!).
A friend notices that the rear badge had corroded and started to bubble around the top edge (how this is possible on a plastic badge I do not know).
Is this a common problem? Fixable (I assume i could fine sand it, then respray it)?
This shouldn't really happen on a 10 month old car but I assume it will be classed as exposure to the elements, so not covered under warranty?
Anyone know how much a new badge costs?
thanks!

Er, a 10 month old car - get the dealer to replace it FOC as it is under warranty.

Exclude any issues resulting from exposure to the elements
Or something like that. It's back in to Racing Green next week (I hope) and it's on the niggle list, so we'll see how they interpret it!
I've got another 14 months full warranty too, good job looking at the amount of things I've had to change so far!

Deejay - is it the silver back plate that the finish is flaking off, if so it happened to mine and ive just replaced it this weekend. The plate is about 30quid the black T350C badge will peel off and stick onto the new plate, if not the badge is £9.
Dead easy to replace, just go into the compartment in the boot and look up to see two threads coming through from the silver backing pl;ate, unscrew the nuts and take the old plate off. Remember to remove a black rubber disc off the back of the old plate and stick it to the new plate as this presses against and operates the boot solenoid.
Hope this helps
