I've decided: I'm going to buy myself a Sagaris. But I'd like some help with choosing the colours and wheels before I do.

There are loads of official photos of a dark silver Sagaris and a deep red Sagaris in circulation, but does anyone know what these colours are called, or where I can see them in the flesh?

I've also seen a substantial photo gallery of a black Sagaris, which appeared at roughly the same time as Racing Green's video if I remember rightly. I think they were shot outside a dealer? Was it a Fotango gellery? Was the link posted on PH? Can anyone remember it?

Finally, I don't think the Spiders go so well with the Sagaris, so does anyone know where I can find the alternative wheels featured on some of the official red Sagaris photos (also seen on the Shiny Nuts website)?

Thanks for you help... Matty

See them in the flesh - loads of dealers!
- Silverstone have a red one.
- Racing Green a green one
- TMS an orange one
- TVR have a blue one (and Nic had a black one)

As for exact colours, that depends on which one you mean. The dark red one is 'Candy apple red' and is not available for customer cars.

If you do a search, there was a thread about the dealers picking up their Sagarii and pictures of a variety of colours

You can also try www.sleepy-fish.com which has a lot of Sagaris pictures, and other TVR's with common colour combinations.

Silverstones Red demo is Formula Red - not Candy Apple, unless the've changed it already

Yep, that didn't read correctly. As you say, it's formula red (though I figured the dark red one mentioned in his post was the show car in Candy Apple).

I might just take you up on that, John. e-mail me at matt.sutherland@waveform.biz to let me know if you're definitely coming down to this neck of the woods.

Is Iced T the colour that was used to demonstrate the Sagaris at some of the early motor shows? I think the Candy Apple colour Deejay mentioned must be the other, dark red car in the brochures that I'm thiking of.

It is - the brochure I have (which is an early one mentioned the aerodynamic properties of the cut outs) is definately the show car with 19" wheels and Candy Apple red paint. You can't have either on a production car though

Shame about not being able to have those cool 19 inchers and Candy Apple red - that car looked excellent I thought.

What about black? There was a recent thread with a link to a gallery of a load of photos of a black Sagaris - can anyone remember the link or the thread?

Matty Boy,

I'm very pleased with my colour combination, check out this thread www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=171837&f=7&h=0

There are also some more pictures in the gallery on [url]www.shinynuts.co.uk/Sagaris/photos/photo_20.html
Outside & seat backs are Rolex Blue, inside is black with carbonfibre black and a few touches of purple...

Jeremy.

Guys,

I've speced GTS Viper blue with anthracite wheels. Though I haven't seen any pics of a Sagaris in that colour. Closest I have seen is this in Laser Blue which is lighter:-

www.autoexpress.co.uk/previews/55420/tvr_sagaris.html

And a darker blue, though probably not GTS here in the lineup (Imperial blue possibly on the pics before the lineup shots):-
www.sagaris.ru/series_3.htm

Thought about Chameleon Orange or Tungsten/Iced Titanium/Grigio Titanio which are proving quite popular it would seem.

Any GTS Blue Sagaris pics appreciated as I may change spec if it looks naff. Not sure about anthracite wheels either with blue.

One other question - is the bright orange Sagaris in the sunshine in Chameleon Orange? Or is it the special Lambo colour that has been mentioned (at the link above). One further along in a similar colour too.

Thanks,
Gary.

My Cerbera is grigio titanium and I'm chuffed with it. The Sagaris in the press pics looks darker than mine, though, or maybe that's just the lighting?

I wouldn't want the Sagaris in the same colour as my Cerbie, anyway, which is why I was keen on the dark red (Candy Apple?), but that's not available to customers it seems... bummer...

What about black or a dark blue?

Nice. I think I'm after something a little brighter. Sportie's Halcyon Midas job is bright alright.

Can I cope with Chamleon Orange? Hmmm, that's gonna be a bit of an eyeful on the drive, or in the garage, in the dark...Could I live with it for a number of years? Could the neighbours? Would my friends disown me?

Oooh I'm feeling tempted again. GTS Blue or Chameleon Orange. It's a happy little dilemma, but the more I look back over the pics at www.sagaris.ru (Sportie's I believe) the more I like the orange.

Any Chameleon Orange owners out there with more pics of that?

Gary.
