Help...

I set off tonight from the station, stopped after 5 minutes to get some food and noticed liquid (water I think... no smell) running from the engine compartment behind the passenger side wheel.

Popped the bonnett and nothing obvious.

Anyone got any ideas, or is it one for TMS?

Thanks

Jon

If you have aircon fitted, it's more than likely that, there is no other place for water around that area, except perhapt the washer bottle, or, it could be because of the attrocious weather we've had of late, and rain water gathering somewhere!

Aha there is a pipe there thats for discharge from the aircon sensor and also from the heat exchanger if I remember correctly. But...I had this also and it was a faulty heat exchanger. Quick pressure test would check the latter.

Well funnily enough I had the aircon on full blast before i stopped, and now I am home there is no sign of a leak, so I am worrying less now.

I will keep an eye on it but if nothing else happens I suspect the aircon is the cause.

Thanks guys.

get this every day-popped the hood several times and like you could never see anything. Air con was my conclusion-2400 miles and nothings gone bang yet.You should be fine.
