it switched itself On, if I run engine it runs without key!

Sitting here with engine running. Cant turn it off... if I take the key out the revs drop 200 but keeps running...
there is a smell from the fuse box area.

Help please.

Put it in 5th and stall it … ?
Then disconnect the battery to be safe

Thinking water got in the fuse box somehow.

Sounds like fuse box. I had same issue on mrs brownspeeds mini metro many moons ago which was water ingress into fuse box. It turned the car into a lower powered sh*ttier version of "Christine"
