How long for a service ?

Got to book mine in for a 12k service. How long will I be without the car? Just read on another thread that it took up to 3 weeks. (please no!)

If all's well, it should only be a day, usually, you drop your car off in the evening, and it should be ready the next evening (They need to leave the engine quite a few hours so that it's completely cool before checking the tappets). The problem arises if something needs replacing, and its the part they invariably haven't got in stock, so they have to wait for the part to be sent from TVR

Shouldn't take more than 2 days for a 12k service (Including Tappet adjustment).

Been driving a Chimaera and now Tamora daily for the past 6.5 years and no services are one day for 6000 miles and two for 12000 miles.
Would guess that it's people who don't use their cars daily that leave them at dealers for longer than necessary.

Yes 12k service is 2 days - as it takes 6 hours for tappet adjustment
