Finally worn out my Goodyear Eagles as fitted as original equipment. They've lasted brilliantly but seem to lose traction fairly easily particularly when cold. Will probably get the same again as I used to get through Toyos horrifically quickly in my old Tuscan. The car is used in all weather and on a few trackdays a year. Any other tyres I should consider?
( If this has been covered a million times before please tell me where, I'll not be offended, merely shown to be the internet dunce I truly am.)

I've seen a few TVRs fitted with Dunlop SP Sport Maxx - they look like track biased tyres. Not sure about wet/cold performance.

F1 is an excellent tyre, and as you say gives good mileage.
Saw quite a few cars at Cadwell the other week with the Dunlop SP Super whats name tyres.
I suspect that these are probably a more track day focused tyre and will probablbly offer even less grip when cold than the F1s.
