Hi all,

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to remove the fuel sender. 2003 T350c. I’ve already had the joy of replacing both pumps and the wiring plug thingy. Is it just a case of drivers side tank cover removal and blindly flail about with my hand in the tank? It looks to be situated in the middle but not sure if removed from inside or outside the tank?

Thanks

If it is the same as on my Tamora you can feel the sender unit through the right hand cover , there is a plastic clip you have to push flat to release the unit , it is a bit fiddly.

The plastic clip is shaped like the hook on a coat hanger, thinking about it you might have to pull it outwards?? , when it releases the unit slides up, hope that helps .

Hi Phil, yes that made sense and worked. It’s not in the best of shape and getting intermittent resistance across the board so I’m glad that looks like the issue I was having.

Thanks again.
