Finally sold my T350c via Pistonheads.

I've gone and bought an SLK 350 (more room for my hairspray) but at least it's got a manual gearbox! I would have like a Tamora but not having a dealer nearby, I had no choice. Hope the new owner (he's a PHer')has as much fun as I did.

Just like to thank everybody who gave me advice over the past two years- you kept me sane!

The new car is fine... well it was.... until the clutch/slave cylinder went west at 500 miles! so don't you go complaining that TVR's aren't reliable!

The only major downside is I now have to play in the Merc forum. I've been over to have a look and it's a terrible place with not much going on. In despair, i joined the MBclub forum... Oh dear! I was slated for buying a manual Merc!!!! Just to give you an idea of what I'm talking about here's one comment on the manual/auto argument:

"yes that's all well and good but with a manual you have to keep moving that stick all the time" WTF!!!!

Pray for me! And if you see a bloke in a silver SLK waving furiously at your TVR, just gun the engine for me... I'm already missing the sound!

Good to hear you've sold the car.

Sorry to see the new car needed a trip to the dealer already - hope you made lots of choice "this didnt happen with my TVR" comments.

Yup, they had the full pi55 take... upside was I managed to pull the receptionist so it's not all bad.

If you dont mind me asking, how much did you sell it for in the end? With it being 'Possibly the cheapest in the world!'

As the other person is a PHer, i don't think it's right I should say anything so I'll leave that up to him to tell you... but trust me... it WAS the cheapest T350 in the world.

Sorry you had to sell the Tiv, best of luck with the Merc, and hope you don't have to stir that dreadful "stick" thing too much!

Maybe you should arrange for a load of TVR's to turn up at an SLK hairdressers meet?

I suppose we could perm the chest wigs of the Griff owners.

Cheers Blueyes We got home at 9.00 pm last night, Andrew let me drive for about two hours, i must say i did like the 350, very smooth drive and more refined than my Cerb, it just lacks the explosive acceleration of the 4.5. Anyway Andrew should be along shortly to give his views on his new P&J.

Cheers Paul

BTW, Blueeyes, I'm not sure I should be admitting this, but the new SLK does look like a nice car. Plus that 3.5 litre engine is a corker.

I think the 'mini SLR' nosecone is the only thing I don't like about the car (but I understand why others like it).

I'd still be faster in a T350 than you in your Cerb.... height and weight I have a 150kg advantage over you!

Glad Andrew is enjoying it, must say I was gutted as you drove away.
