I know we get lots of posts about people's exhausts, and that I've been one of the doubters as to whether they would be too loud for everyday use, and I have just bought myself a daily runner ...
BUT ... I just collected my car this morning with freshly installed JP exhaust, and it is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC
At idle it sounds much meatier, similarly driving through town, and you just get a hell of a lot more over-run crackle and pop, but at motorway speed, there doesn't appear to be any nasty drone, and it's not too loud.
Apparently Racing Green exhaust is louder than this, but I think this is just about the right level of noise for me, and would be perfect for any daily runners - go on if you haven't chanegd yet, get one :D
It was £300 + VAT from DM, and half hour labour to fit

Glad you like it. It is a safety feature you know - people hear you coming and get out of the way. Better than ABS, TC, ESP or any other electronic babysitter
Personally, I love a nice loud exhaust, but I think I must be the only person on Pistonheads who thinks crackles and pops make a car sound like a Maxxed up Nova.

Any pictures, is the JP two single pipes or one back box, does it look the same as the original exhaust.
As I keep saying - I ONLY PICKED IT UP THIS MORNING - GIVE ME A CHANCE!!!
I will try to take a photo today, and then try to work out where to host it, but basically it is similar to stock exhaust in that there is one back bock, but the pipes are quite a lot larger. The Racing Green one is 2 separate pipes.

pictures don't appear to be working properly?
What is the effect on warranty does anyone know?
Have re-posted them, don't know why stopped appearing, and will doubtless disappear again
Cannot see how TVR could argue that the rear box section of the exhaust being changed would affect their warranty, think they would have to prove it did something to affect engine, can't see it.
