Hi

After hearing what others said at the Silverstone meet regarding speakers, if I replaved my exsisting speakers (which seemingly has no bass whatsoever) with these;

http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/2496.html

Would it be a worthwhile investement?

Thank you

Oh,, also noticed this, an add on to my satnav system, seems very intersting!!
http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/3762.html

But, alas, I don't think I have anymore nooks and crannies I can hide it!!!

Those are ferzakerly the same speakers as I put in the back of my T350. To be honest if you're after bass I'd go for a pair of 6x9s in the rear (not sure what you have right now). These speakers are OK though.

If you're looking at 6x9s, I think Infinity make the best, for reasonable money anyway.

Like these;

Bit worried about how they'll stick out through the rear bulkhead though, any tips?

Yeah, cut a bigger hole!

They will project into the boot, but only on the bit above the petrol tank, where there isn't much room for anything else, especially if you've put a CD changer there. Get them professionally installed, and they will be covered with soundproof felt, and look fine.

If you want big sound, you need a big magnet -and the Kappas certainly have those!

OK, I now have the Infinity: KAPPA 693.5i - 6"x9" speakers, they're bloody heavy, so I think they need to be screwed into a piece of MDF or something, would it be advisable to get someone else to fit them, as I even borked up fitting a new gear knob collar by using mole grips!

Just to the bulkhead. They do protrude into the rear, but its covered by carpet. They give great sound! They are http://thebassbin.co.uk/shop/product/products_id/282.html

They are an awesome sound with the tweeters in the front.

Any pictures showing the install? Are these the only speakers you have in the rear? Can you really FEEL the bass as well as clear midtones? I had a 12" sub and two 18cm in the rear on my Tuscan and I'm thinking of going with a similar set up but with two 10" subs for a earth shattering pulse...

I've got exactly the same speakers! Here's my install:

I've also installed some tweeters in the front for a bit of decent sound. mI think the Infinitis will sound better though.

OK, speakers are now installed Sound's a lot better! Trouble is, I can't put my boot bulkhead carpet back properly, due to the depth of the Kappa speakers! There are creases I can't 'iron out', would it be worth ordering another boot carpet? Can't believe how tough that carpet is, Stanley knife was blunt as soon as I inserted it into the carpet!!!
(Death Threat by Death in Vegas actually has some bass in it now!!! lol)
