How to store roof panel in Tamora's boot !

Bought a Tamora a few weeks back and am still trying to discover the art of storing the roof panel in the boot. Please can somebody help with any useful tips before its winter again !!!

Follow the instructions in the handbook and it really is not that difficult. Basically top facing you front pointing down present into left hand side of storage space first. Then it will wiggle home like a fledgling finding it's nest. Reverse when removing i.e. lift out from right hand side first. It still scrapes on the underside of the boot lid however and collects some carpet/lining on the way out which if it is a brand newey must be a tad annoying.

Here we go. The first image is two cut outs in the boot carpet, replaced with carbon fibre effect plastic - they reduce the resistance when you shve the corner of the panel in. The second is a picture of the spacer I have under the boot lid gas strut. Works well.

Does having the spacers mean the back of the boot lid then sits higher and proud of the bodywork?

No, it's just the same as normal, unless you put too much spacer in.

Ta - and have you only put spacer under that top screw, nothing under the other screw?
