T350 MY spec updates
Discussion
Having read the excellent FAQ's, does anybody know the MY dates that these changes took place?
Petrol filler ring - glued in place on earlier models, but had tendency to fall off - Factory fix was to screw it to the body
Fuel filler nozzle – New type to prevent “Splash-back” when filling up
Luggage cover – added
Tail-gate - finger recess added.
Tail-gate - Modification to hatch catch to include Allen-key adjustment
Sun-visors – added
Targa Panels (T350T) - Seal and securing system updated.
Glovebox - press catch changed for magnetic one and glovebox has finger recess
Cheers
Kevin

Mine has sunvisors Nov 2004 car.
For what its worth I think the only upgrade must haves are air/con and TVR Power super sports exhausts
It should be added that the sunvisors are absolutely tiny, and don't seem to block out much sun!!
It's a nice to have (if that), nothing more!
I'd definately want a t350 with the boot cover and cut out though...
I'm not sure about the dates at which they became standard, but my Nov 03 T350 has the luggage cover, the finger recess on the tail gate, the sunvisors and the glovebox updates.
It doesn't have the modification to the hatch catch to include Allen-key adjustment or the Fuel filler updates.

Mine was an April 03 car and went back to factory for a service in Jan 04. Whilst there it had all the above updates done for free apart from the sunvisors and the tailgate finger recess which obvously couldn't be retrofitted. In addition they fitted a new design interior light and stainless steel kick plates.
Oh yes, and when it came back... it was amazing... totally planted and incredibly quick.
Well done factory people!
We have an 03 T350c, which was one of the first.
During that time they were built without sun visors
But Castle TVR sent the car back to the factory for these upgrades, We got a new petrol filler pipe to aid filling without splash back (still crap though).
Rear cover fitted, and several other niggles, all done FOC, But if we wanted the sun visors fitted, it was going to cost me £4,500 !! as it meant a complete new inside re-upholstery, But i soon solved that one, i work with perspex all day, so i just cut and bent two visors using 3mm perspex, and attached them to the top of the screen using Velcro, it was one of the cheapest and best mods i could have done, they work very well, they are wider than the factory one's Which are damn next to useless if you are a short arse like me.
