Quick question (well a couple) . what extra do you have to pay for when you buy a new TVR (Sagaris)..

If you only purchased a standard spec (not that I will :D).. at £49,995.00

What extra will the dealership charge you?

Vehicle Registration
12 months road tax
Dealer PDI?
1k service charge?

Also if you bought a car from one TVR dealer would another dealer be able to do the 1k service? Also on any warranty work, can any dealer perform this - or do you have to use the same one?

Sub £50K, why would you buy just a basic car - especially when the extras are so reasonable.

Registration, PDI road tax and first service add about £700 to the ex works price.

Go to another dealer for the first service and you will pay for it rather than just the cost of the oils. You will probably have to wait along time to get booked in.

In theory any dealer can do warranty work for you. In practice, if the dealer didnt supply the car, and therfore didn't have a profit oppurtunity, he will be very reluctant to take on warranty work.

From my experience the dealer who makes the sale has to do the 1000 mile service.

i believe anyone can do the service work after that but i managed to haggle some future service discounts so i will continue to use the dealer who sold me the car!
