T350 Racing Harness
Discussion
Has anyone fitted a harness to a T350? If so what did you bolt it too? I find the seats a bit too unsupportive and need something to hold me in place.
Also changing the subject hugely, is it possible to fit front speakers into the frong doors (ie through the arm rest). I've upgraded the rear ones, but i still can't hear them. Very occasionally i like to play some music.

Harness is an odd one. The width of the seat at shoulder height will not allow a hareness to provide effective support.
Front speker upgrade is available. Speakers fitted into the front lower part of the door. (late 2004-early 2005 onwards fitted as standard)
I've a T350 which came with harnesses. An additional roll bar has been mounted across the back, behind the seats and fixed to the down legs of roll cage. Two Villans four strap harnesses have then been attached to the bar and around the seats.
As Daftlad says, the seats are really too wide for the harnesses and I found that without a fifth strap between the groin, the whole harness tends to ride up towards your neck, unless you have it really tight (as you probably would do on a track day - I've not driven the car that hard), but on the road it's easier to have a bit of slack in the harnesses, so you can reach all the contols. Can take pictures if you want?

Only just joined the forum, so apologies if this has been answered elsewhere already (!), but i would be very interested in seeing the photos of the harness set up for your 350. i've been puzzling about how to fit harnesses into my 350 also and any advice would be welcome ?!
