My T350 arrived this morning. Unfortunately the delivery driver went off with the handbook. I've been searching these forums just to find out how to open the boot and get to the fuel.

I've got a couple of questions, if somebody would be so kind as to help me out till the damn book arrives.

1. is there a copy of the handbook online somewhere?
2. The water dripping out the underside is presumably the aircon?
3. I get 'EFI failure' messages when I start the engine. I clear it (took me ages to find the buttons behind the wheel) and goes away until the next time I start. Serious?
4. What's the water level guage measuring? I'm guessing it might be related to the aircon again, if so where do I refill the water and does it have to be demineralised?
5. Where's the bonnet release?
6. What water temp is it reporting? The radiator? I thought the temp guage on my chim was oil temp. The temperature seems to be 90-95 even when doing 70mph in 5th on the motorway.

That'll do for now, thanks in advance. There's a pic here|http://www.yoyo.org/~steve/tvrt350.jpg by the way.

Push the T350C badge on the rear to open the taigate glass
Pull the aluminium lever inside the luggae area to the rear of the n/s rear wheelarch to open the fuel filler
1 - not seen one
2 - Yes, probably
3 - Mine does this ocassionally but nor serious, just clear the message
4 - not sure what you mean by the water level guage but the filler is at the very front of the engine area (o/s on later versions and doesn't need to to be demineralised)
5 - under the steering column
6 - water temp in the system being circulated through rads and engine. Fans kick in at 91 so no problem if it goes a little over just check fans are coming in at that temp.

That was quick! Thanks

The water level guage is one of the indicators on the dash computer, it comes up next to the fuel level guage on one of the layouts. Maybe it's not water level, but water temp or something else. It just says 'water'.

The EFI thing is actually in the FAQ I must have missed it.

It's a great car. Makes the chim seem tame.

Blimey Nick Whale, didn't have that car for long!

A VERY nice looking car you have there mate! But did you not know that green cars are unlucky!

Thanks for the water temp tip.

This particular green car is certainly unlucky because it got bought by a numpty like me who can't work out how to open the damn boot without help. It doesnt seem to be holding it against me though. Sounds as good as it looks with the sports exhaust, thought I'd miss the V8 growl of the chimera but think I actually prefer the S6 sound.

Dealer should have conducted a decent 'handover' to run you through all these things?!?

The dealer isn't a TVR specialist and the delivery guy knew less about the car than I did. He couldnt find the door release. *Crunch* into reverse off the delivery truck. Er, try putting into 5th before reverse old boy.

Then he drove off with the handbook. We'll see how quickly get that back. Nice guy but I bet he won't be volunteering for more TVR deliveries in a hurry.
