Anyone know roughly how much I should have to pay for the first 1k service at a main dealer?

So you're getting it then. When do you collect?

I've been quoted approx £150 + vat by dealer.
Should I expect this to be a free service or not?

My undersanding is that you normally have to pay for just fluids... From memory I think I payed just under £100 inc vat, but I suppose it does depend on what you have agreed with the dealer - as this forum confirms, not all dealers are the same..!!

I think mine was the cost of fluids + a bit for respraying the bottom of the front spoiler (c'mon, I can't be the only one who scraped it...)

Should be no labour cost. Fluids, consumables generally have to be paid for unless a deal done on purchase etc. Any major parts you would hope were covered on warranty...
