Right, a very selfish post here, I make no appologies.

I NEED to see a Sagaris in black. If you have a pic or, even better, have a black Sagaris, please please please post some pics up.

This car is bad for my health. I can't stop thinking about it. I was initial not a fan but all that has changed. It looks absolutely phenomenal and judging by the comments by the owners so far it seems like a bloody good drive.

Those wheels look great, i think they really suit the Sagaris. A nice change from the usual Spiders (although they still look good!)

Cheers all,

Oh dear, I just woke up and the first thing I wanted to do was see these pics

Came back late last night and despite the "don't even think about going on PH" from the Mrs, I did a quick check and found the TMS and show car pics.

I also found the pics from another forum which I am sure where poster up here. The shots were of all the Sagari at the factory. Amazing www.tyresmoke.net/gallery/albus50

So, tell me. I am going to be in Manchester of all places in 3 weeks for 4 days. Where is the nearest TVR dealer with a Sagaris?

What is the wheel name and manufacturer? I really don't think my eyes can withstand the abuse of seing so many hideously transformed cars.

Wow, I didn't realise that fellow countrymen were that hellbent on trying to out-do the Yank boys in the lack of taste stakes

my advice is go for a metallic colour every time with grp bodies, otherwise they look, well, a bit plasticky. A metallic black would also be a tougher paint and less easy to chip and scratch. Solid black is known to be the softest paint. My last car was solid black. Never again.

Two solid black cars here, one of '04 vintage, the other an '85 with still about 50% original paint left. Both are very shiny, and when I put a 'metallic' black car next to it I think 'that's not black. At all.'

And yes, they do tend to show blemishes more than other colours, but other than that I'm not complaining (one could say the 20 year old car -which I've owned for 11+ years- is in this good a condition becuase one is much more aware of 'issues' that could turn into trouble later on) - never had any problems with matching paint, for instance. The metallic red Citroën on the other hand - even the factory never seemed to be able to provide a reasonable match for it (touch-up paint), and the one fender that's been repainted by the dealer's body shop (after my indiscretion involving lots of lift-off oversteer) still sticks out like a sore thumb in some light conditions...

Your comment about GRP bodies and solid colours is well taken, though. Might explain why I always found Formula Red made Griffs look like toy cars...

Might give me a good excuse to trade the 'Mystic Black Pearlescent' Sagaris on order for the Typhon if/when it hits the streets..
