Brake lights not going out!

Looks like the micro-switch on my brake pedal is sticking :( My brake lights are nearly always on. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Is there an adjustment I can make? I can't see where the switch is but I can hear it when tapping the pedal.

I had this on my Tuscan. The dealer tried “lubricating the switch”, which didn’t make any improvement. In the end a new switch cured it.

It is very possible its the handbrake switch thats stuck instead..?

I don't think it is the handbrake switch as I can make the lights go out by tapping the brake pedal, or pulling it towards me. You can hear the switch. Maybe adjusting the brake pedal slightly may help?

I'm off to Le Mans on Thursday and don't fancy driving through France with no brake lights working
