Recently you had your wheels refurbished, would you happen to have the tele number.

Just come back from Le Mans and kerbed the nearside front and rear (heavily). Caused by a local driver turning left in front of me, with me taking drastic avoiding action up the kerb.

May be two new alloys as right on the rim and possibly two new tyres as kerbing strip damaged.

Apart from that excellent weekend, but wheels and tyres might cost more than the trip did.

My rear wheel was only lightly damaged, so that was less, but the front was heavivly damaged. Both were resprayed and cleaned, the rear was around £50 and the front £70, but I have to say, they look like new!

Many thanks for the reply, I will give them a call and take the wheels down.

Do they also remove the tyres or does this need to be done before you give them the wheels?.

Tried to find replacements just in case unrepairable, but second hand ones are not available.

Rear tyre is definatly scrap, front just a nick to the rubber beading.

Only too pleased to help

Chan took my 2 wheels down to the workshop, the tyres were left on, so don't worry about having to remove the tyres, if you tell them the wheels are the same as the ones they did for the other TVR (mine), they will know which silver to use.
Only downside being that we lose the 'TVR' stencilled logo on the wheel, but that's a small price to pay.
