After hearing a driveby by martinp the other week, I decided I had to get a new exhaust from the chaps at Racing Green.

Drove it today. That's one seriously noisy exhaust! It pops and bangs so much more than before :cloud9:

You weren't out in it at 5am the other morning were you?

There was a lot of distant gun fire, probably Prince Harry and his mates down at Sandhurst, or maybe it was just a Speed 6 engine and sports exhaust...

hmmm very tempted by the sports exhaust. 2 questions for those of you that have them:

1) do you still get the deafening resonance between 2,000 and 3,000 revs (this is one of the few things i hate about my t350)

2) where can you get silencers for track day use?

thanks in advance...

I have TVR Power super sports exhaust fiited to mine.
I find that the resonance is worst at 4000 rpm I only get BIG POPS & BANGS between 2000-3000 rpm.
I have read on another topic here , about someone who has had TVR super sports exhaust fitted but has also had it decatted which greatly reduces the resonance, but if I remember correctly you have to also have a different ecu fitted for a decat.

Anyway what the point in having a TVR if its not LOUD

I haven't noticed any serious resonance problems yet. I used to have some from the driver's side door panel not long after I bought the car (on a standard exhaust), but my dealer sorted it out for me.

Thanks...

To explain, I love the fact that its loud !!!

The only problem is between 2000 and 3000 revs (normally stuck behind traffic) the resonance is so loud it gives me a headache! To the point where i now change gear to avoid it

I have the TVR sports exhaust and the resonance problem is very much present.

Check the 'bedford autodrome' thread in this forum for track day silencer tips.
