Just finished playing 5-a-side footy and returned to the car in the car park to find a 2-foot long, deep key mark down the passenger door!!:furious:.
Just can't understand why a grown adult would do something like that.
Anyway, i don't suppose anyone knows what the best course of action would be as far as repairs go cos i'm a complete novice at things like this!
Is it best to phone my local dealer to see what they suggest?
Thanks. chris

Just be glad you don't understand sad bastards like that. if you did you would be as deeply unhappy and disturbed as they are. Just think how miserable your life would be if every time you saw a nicer car than yours it made you that upset and full of hate! If you think about it that's a grim punishment in itself.

I'm just sorry it happened to you and your car which you doubtless worked very hard for and that was after you paid all your taxes which probably clothed, fed, sheltered and educated the 'person' that did it.

Really sorry to hear that.....

It happened to our Omega parked at Chessington.....and I was furious about that...if someone keyed the TVR....well..........

Most of the dealers know of a good local coachworks.........

Only other bit of advice is that if you have a cat...keep well away from it...........

Hope it gets sorted soon.......

Sorry to hear about this! , B@stards!
Unfortunately, it is the country we now live in, where people on benefits get almost the same as people who work bloody hard for what they want, but they don't get 'quite' as much, and feel they should under this communist government, so act on sheer spite.

If you have NCP on your insurance, would it be worth getting your 350 sorted from that? (I do know a few who have done that!)

Thanks guys! The biggest pain in the tits is figuring out how to get to the 5-a-side from now on as its my only car. I wouldn't mind but i only bought the car 2 months ago and i've had nothing but bad luck since! The rear shocks went after about a week and it's only done 3000 miles!!! Never mind

Sorry to hear about that. Complete feckin disaster. It's happened to me a few times, unfortunately quite recently as well - someone drove into the side in a car park.
Depending on your excess, you're unlikely to get too much joy from your insurers unless you have both a low excess and NCP.
As for the paint, years ago I took my first S2 to a back alley cowboy - cheap but far from recommended. Painting fibreglass is an art. It will bubble if not done properly. I've had two professional jobs done - magnificent, and one scrape done by "Chips Away". Don't know what other PHers might think, but I was more than satisfied, and they come out to you. Would certainly sort you out if these are your only wheels. Trouble is I don't know how much of Britain they cover.
Good Luck

I add my regrets that you should join the growing list of "victims." I live in a quiet middle class area and average one crime against a car a year. Usually breaking the window and attempting to nick a radio that's not in the vehicle. Mr Plod is too busy elsewhere (insert your grim favourite here.) No point in reporting these crimes unless you have very good NCB protection. You'll just get a crime no. and a leaflet offering you victim counselling.
Last night a guy I work with blamed these ills on Thatcher! I despair. But feel better for having gotten this off my chest. Thank you for listening PHers.

Got in touch with hexham horseless, and taking it in on saturday to get an estimate. No doubt this will end up being the most expensive repair option, but hopefully i'll get a proper job done.
Thanks tophat, i'll look into the chips-away thing as well. It's a deep scrape though so don't know if they're able to sort that kind of scrape.
I'd just love to get the tt that did it and . He probably plays for a team we've hammered recently.
