Can anyone assist in finding a fix for my sagaris rear window rattle? Its especially bad with both driver and passenger windows down, which is obviously really annoying as this is how i want to drive the car 95% of the time! I havnt gone to the dealer yet as i fear he might say the usual( they all do that sir). My car, by the way, has the hatch opening by way of the sagaris badge ( I read elsewhere that some have a new catch under the number plate ). Any ideas? Its driving me nuts!!!!

There is an allen key adjustment on the window catch - try adusting it a coupl of mm up and see if that helps to give a "snugger " fit..

Thanks mjc, will try this when i get home this weekend. I now recall having to adjust this screw some time ago when the rear interior light wouldnt go out on hatch closure! I may have made things worse in the rattle department by over adjusting this screw, I think there is a fine line between rattle and hatch light on/off. Will let you know the outcome asap.

Rear light that activates with the hatch!? Mine doesn't (it is a T350C through and not a sag) - I just assumed it was a "feature".

The sagaris has an interior rear light fixed to the rear bulkhead(?) next to a compartment holding the radio information pack ( havnt looked at this yet as have had no inclination to turn a radio on, nor likely to!). The light is activated when the rear hatch is opened and obviously should go off again when closed. Check it though, as mine didnt, and in bright sunlight was difficult to see, which could have led to a flat battery pretty quickly!

Mine does that when the windows are open. But not at all when they are up. I assumed it was something to do with the wind pushing on it from inside. My solution is to do the windows up!

Do you have not have air con or do you just drive windows down to hear the noise?

I had the same rear window rattle on Sagaris, very noticable with passenger windows down and cabin airflow. Solution simple, tighten alan-key head tighty so that the sprung washer actually works and for this I had to clamp the rounded alloy bar for tightening beyond using your fingers ( the one that clicks into the lock). - sofar no more rattles

I had the rear hatch rattle on my T350, again adjusting the allen bolted latch thingy solved the problem quickly and easily.
