Hi,
Just got my 350 back from its 6000 mile and it cost £750 after being told £600(ish). I keep forgeting mechanics and builders always quote pre vat figures. All I can say is that I knew it would hemmorage money but since I got back it runs even better and puts a bigger smile on my face. From the in-car fun destroyer the quote was "yes i saw the way the 911 turbo was left beind at the QE2 toll and the slow 4.6 HSE Range Rover that got in the way on the M25 -- but just cool it in town".
As per another "twitchy" thread the car appears more settled, which I assume comes down to tyre pressure (as in the garage looked at it).
