That's intersting, getting rid of the targa version, wonder why!
I wonder if the price rise will be a reflection on tighter quality control, or better internal componants, or just economic inflation (which would be odd as most of the general population seem to be not spending very much on anything at the mo!
Cheers for that Kevin

Seats = good move, must look at how well they fit when they appear in showrooms (Tuscans get crashed regularly = scrappers, bolt in etc. etc.).

No Targa version = well there goes my next car. I despise the Tuscan 2 dashboard ... maybe the converitble will win me over (I also hate the lump of alloy centre console though even if it has the T350 dials).

Think I'll keep my limited edition model...

So Kevin - are you going to buy a TVR anyday soon? You are becoming a bit of a 'DustyC' (another PHer who took ages to buy his Griffith).

You may well find that the price rise is to offset some of the warranty claims over the now 3 year period (it also coincides quite nicely with a rebuild price!!)

T350C - Now has Tuscan Seats, 2 rear speakers, pearl paint and Air Con as standard. But.... It's had a 10% price rise taking it from £38,500 base to £42,300 base price!

Didn't the previous spec also have air con, 4 speakers (2 in the back) and pearl paint as standard. So, 4k is for different seats

Its a real shame that the people who know what the prices and spec are going to be are not called. We have had 2 price list in the past 10 days and I have been informed that there might still be changes.

one thing I can say that the car comes with no spec and you add what you want.

From what I have read on P/H, the gereral tome seems to be that there is very little communication from the factory to the very well respected and highly regarded dealers, and the owners and potential owners are left in the dark as to what's really going on! the general feeling is that the factory itself seems at odds with itself, and I do worry about the future, purely and simply because we/I need cars such as TVR, hopefully for a long time to come!
There seems to be more negative posts than positive these days, and it saddens me, as 9 times out of 10, there is a genuine underlying reason behind the worry that people express, especially from one of the most respected dealers in the TVR community.

LOL @ Trefor!

Unfortunately the guy who's buying my S2000 is pissing about with HPI checks, AA inspections and he wants to drive it himself. So i have told him to arrange insurance and get it sorted cos I have a car waiting for me!

He went on holiday last week but comes back today, so i should have it all tied up by the end of this week hopefully, then that gorgous T350T (Yes Alan i do mean yours!) will be mine!

Oh and don't worry, ive got those silly thoughts of Boxsters out of my head now!.

Heard about the changes too. From what I (and my dealer) understand, the T350 is now £38,775 for a basic car and coupe only, you have to add 18" wheels, paint, A/C etc. (yes all cars now come on 16" wheels, bar the Sagaris), the Tamora is £36,425 and the Sagaris £49,350.
For Tuscan fans, it is now only availble as 4.0 at £39,950 (targa and conv), with a 'Sports' pack availble as an option, presumably equivalent to what was an S.
All makes sense IMO and helps to rationalise what was an overly complicated range. Lets hope it sells more cars

It sounds like there is still a lot of confusion within the dealers and what the dealers have been told (my info came from 2 different dealers, although a 3rd had told me about some proposed changes, a few weeks ago).

But i agreee though, it all makes sense and differentiates the range enough to make the cars individual (not just the same engine round different body's).

Shame about the Targa - I was 50/50 about changing to one of those next year.... Looks like I'll just have to stick with my lovely coupe instead...!

I am at the Factory on Friday to see my new T350 inbuild and hope to see the Tuscan seats installed in a T350.
With some help, I can post some snap shots.
If you're at Oulton on Saturday I can show the Photos we took.

I have to say I'm becoming increasingly interested in a Tuscan 2 convertible - if they get the dash right.

It could be time to hire one from a dealer to see if it handles like a Tamora - if not I'll stick with what I've got!

Hi Mate

Did have a t350c (one of the first), but sold and have just ordered Evo 8 MR320. Needed the seats and a car that was going to get used a bit more.
