Its all in code, so you wont be able to analyse it anyhow...

It can be done though, if you have a look in
this months Sprint the lad with the 4.7 Cerby
had his lap top plugged and was able to show
all engine data on screen. Dont think it was
a special plug either just a serial port.

No, it's not OBDII compatible and no you cannot get OBD-compliant codes from the ECU. The OBDII scanners connect via a serial connection, so you will be able to connect the cable, but the scanner will not understand or display any information from the ECU.

Yes, you can hook up a laptop via the serial port and get the regular codes/data from the ECU, as long as you have the MBE diagnostic software.
