Over-slept this morning, so had to rush! Fortunately the London roads were clear and I arrived on time. However, as the engine was only 55c by the time I arrived, I decided to keep driving until my engine was properly warmed to about 70c. Of course, I was late!
Would anyone else have done the same thing?

I would, but you lot tell me I'm mental anyway!!

Is it really bad to make short journeys? I didn't realise it is that bad to make short journeys...
Pls Advise: I intend on using my sag as an everyday car, and every morning my journey is only 15 minutes max. Would this be detrimental to me sag?? I know I should take it very easy when a car is not warm... but... I didn't realise you have to reach a certain temp before ending the journey??..??

Looks like you might need an engine rebuild after this little stunt Sir... You know how tempremental the Speed 6 is

Don't call me Max, but basically if your journey doesn't allow the engine to warm up properly, it ain't too good in the long rung! However, a 15 minute journey in traffic should make the engine nice and warm. If not - it looks like you are going to have to take the long route to work (which I often do). However in a Sag this should be a bonus rather than a pain! Perhaps people exaggerate too much about using a Speed6 for short journeys. I’m sure you can do it in small doses provided you look after the car properly and give it a good old blast on weekends. But really, it’s not the kind of car you can use to pop out and buy the newspaper from around the corner. Personally I don't like to switch off - until the temp hits 65-70c. But maybe that's just me being too kid-glovey! Who knows?
