Had the Blue Flame Sports exhaust fitted to the Tam last week. Picked her up and drove up to Silverstone for the GP yesterday and boy thats the best £375.00 I have ever spent. Cackles and pops nicely on the over run and when excellerating hard sounds like the gunner from a world war II plane. I feel like a little boy who's just pegged a bit of card board to his bicycle wheel for the 1st time. Dealer has told me this will improve as the exhaust cokes up so it can only get better. Doesnt sound as good as a 4.5 Cerbera (as I found out on the way home whilst driving behind one) but for the money its a must! Very easy to live with at speed, not too noisy but when your driving round the roundabouts at Milton Keynes its music to the ears. Anyone out there thinking of upgrading I definately would go for it.

Test drove a Sagaris on Saturday as well and although I loved the car driving it on the roads didnt justify the extra layout over my Tam IMO.

Cheers
Glenn

It's a really good feeling to be so pleased with something on which you've just spent hard earned pennies.

It's also good to think you'll get that feeling every time you start her up!!!!

Sounds good, I'm already wanting popping from my exhaust and may consider this as a mod in the future.

Does it meet with the 98db noise limit of most track days?

Now you're being

I very seriously doubt it. This is why I've kept the std exhaust.

My Dealer has taken this on a track day attached to a T350 and passed the test. If that fails you can always put a debaffler on! Also pretty easy to fit so i have kept my original exhaust in case of any eventualities of that kind.

Not really sure just passing on what was said to me! If anyone wants more info re potential track day use with this exhaust fitted call Ian at Castle TVR, sure he would be happy to confirm options/experiences.

Of course it will depend on which track you want to go on. Places like Goodwood and Castlecombe are more restrictive than say Cadwell Park.

BTW, for optimum fun go to a twisty track - you know that car is fast in a straight line, it's the twisties which make it fun IMO. After Oulton Park last weekend it certainly ranks among my fave UK tracks along with Cadwell (which is not at all scarey, some people report that it is).
