Cool. So you had a remap done I assume? How was the day? What were the gains over std?

Have you had your HT leads replaced with magnecor or similar? (just asking as this seems to be a common thing which needs doing to get optimum umph).

I've got to pay for my 12k service (timing it to put it on next months credit card). Then I think I'll be on to Austec.

Is the EPROM/mapping easy to swap back out for the std chips/map?

This is without the re-map

Only mods are de-cat (and chip) with CCC's.
AFAIK the leads are standard ones.
This is how I bought the car.

I think the map is easily/quickly changed by those in the know.

Out of interest, what the hell gear was that in???? The speed seems far too high for third and far too low for fourth??

Impressive figures all the same, any chance of you getting it on a different set of rollers to see how the figures change?

It was done in fourth - I don't have the close ratio gearbox a la a proper 'S'.

4th should then go on to err... not sure, but the Cerb did 144mph from memory on a RR in 4th??? Does the Tuscan have a different 4th gear????

From the look of it, 127mph equates to 6629RPM. At 7250, where I get asked to change up in my Cerb SP6, that would equate to 139mph. Sounds about right for 4th.

4th and 5th gears on both the C/R and standard are exactly the same, it's only the first three that are different.

Mebe It's my squinty eyes but the MAX BHP figure doesn't read from that graph unless you tilt it - The graph shows more like 415

As Nelly says, it'd just had de-cat & ECU to match from TVR Power (in Summer '04 at the same time as what was then a "latest-spec" Red-Rose rebuild). Oh, along with the SFR throttle bodies. Other than that, engine was standard when he stole it from me. Power "promised" 395BHP from it at the time.

If was ridiculously quick even before the rebuild though. Things I'd point out... I've had WELL over that speed out of it (GPSd) in 4th. I think that speed is matched to the revs for peak power (as already suggested). Oh, and the ambient temperature there's over 30 degrees - I'd have it on the rollers again on a particularly frosty January morning, I think.

When mine was dyno'ed recently(see Sprint for details)
the max power was also obtained in fourth at 6854rpm
and 133mph. When the dyno op stuck in fifth it topped
out at 182mph.
