Hi,
Recently took delivery of a T350C and despite it being my 7th or 8th (i lost count)TVR still have that stupid grin on my face!

Anyway, a quick question.
The manual seems to imply that if you change the LCD settings they should be remembered when you turn off and restored the next time you start up. However, mine resets to the default, ie Speed on left and Revs on right.
Did I misinterpret the manual or should it remember or do I have to do something to make it remember.

Only 'fault' so far is a/c which doesn't seem very cold but reading here that seems about normal.

Cheers
Paul

"They All Do That Sir!"

That was one of the things I asked to be looked at at both my 1000 and 6000 mile services. Despite software updates and re-boots, it still never displays the last screen that I chose (as it implies in the manual...)

Think you just get used to it in the end...

Thanks for the quick reply.

I've got software 1.5
Nice to know I'm not the only one it doesn't work for, maybe it doesn't work for anyone.
Typical TVR !

Cheers
Paul

Yep, doesn't work for me either. Nice to know I'm not the only one.

I dont think it has ever worked for anyone.

est you can hope for is a software upgrade to get rid of EFI 04 when you start up (that's what mine used to do every time).

It might relate to the 'parameter' setting on one of the screens - I know if you set that then the ECU remembers what you had displayed (I always set oil temp) for next time you visit that screen.

The options available on the T350 differ from the Tamora.

The Tam and T350 have a screen which allows one parameter to be user set and is remembered next time.

The T350 now has a another screen which allows 2 values to be chosen by scrolling though them. This isn't remembered and is reset back to the default of water temp/oil pressure I think (might be wrong as I always chnage it to be water/oil temp).

My EFI 04 was caused by one of the other sensors playing up. Don't know which at the time but I had water, oil and fuel sensor errors as well pop up at various times suring the EFI 04. Which ever one it was which caused the EFI 04, it was spiking or something like that.

I thought exactly the same on my T350 but decided that maybe they were talking about the selectable figure on one of the screens which is remembered.

Slightly off topic but what is the Factory selection for on the computer? I messed about with the contrast and brightness of the lights to see if it made the display more visible in bright sunshine. It didn't and couldn't remember the default settings so tried to do the factory thing thinking it would reset the values. I don't think it did.

I also found the recall setting on the menu which tells you what your max speed and RPM are since last resetting them. Quite nice to have, but I have noticed that it seems to record the start-up RPM and speed (when the dials go up to max and back to 0 again when you turn on the ignition) so unless you remember to reset it after turning on the ignition the max figures show 199mph and 9000rpm or something like that!

Apparently I am not allowed to access the "sport" mode

Hi Nick - My T350 doesn't store the start up revs and mph but the loaner I have at the mo did have 298mph recorded?! Needless to say I haven't been able to repeat it on the road
