Hi all,
Spoke to soon earlier when I said only one minor fault on T350.
Just been out and have the following problems...
Main beam and indicator warning lights always on (within speedo area).
Sounder making continous 'beep'
Windscreen wipers always on.
All indicator lamps on (but not full brightness)
Side lights/head lights don't work.
Starting car gives air temp sensor warning.
Other sensors seem to be working fine but it failed to switch on the cooling fans so it's over heated.

It's 6 days old and I just spent 2 hours waiting for the RAC.
It's now in my garage and in the morning will have a flat battery unless I can turn the lights off.

A very unhappy T350C owner - should've stuck with the cerb !

Anyone any idea on how to turn everything off.
Disconnect the battery ? (where is it ?)
Any help/ideas appreciated.

Sorry if I sound p****ed off - I am !

Cheers

Pull the fuses/relays for the offending items. Under the steering column (upside down). Destructions which is which in the manual.

Sounds like you've got a loose earth connection to me. Being a plastic car everything requires twice as much cabling as a metal bodied car and the earth connections are vital.

Battery is a b1tch to get to/disconnect.

Thanks for quick replies.
Current situation is this...
With ignition turned off the indicators are dimly lit.
Removing the indicator fuse does not turn them off so I guess they're is some sort of loop through another circuit ? (If I arm the alarm the inidcators flash full brightness at rear and side of car but are off at front).
Everything else is off (until I turned the ignition on).

I guess it just a case of trying each fuse in turn.

Good luck....I'd imagine the dealer might get a quick call in the morning!

At least I got the lights off now.
Removing the dip beam fuse turns the indicators off!
Putting it back in they remain off until I arm the alarm then they're back on dim so I've left it out for tonight.

8am in the morning the dealer will certainly get a call, good job I don't know his home phone number !

Thanks for your help guys.

Finally got the car back today and, touch wood, everything seems to be working OK.
After much scratching of heads and a visit from someone from the factory they changed one of the wiring looms in the engine bay and that cured it.
They didn't isolate to any particular connection, whether they'll do that now I've no idea, I guess not.

Let the fun begin :-) after it's run in of course.

Mine did this on Eurohoon when I took the dipped beam fuse out - so there must be a particular circuit that goes AWOL. Still as long as it's better, GO DRIVE!!

Nubbin,
You had exactly the same faults as me ?
Do you know how they fixed it ?
I'd just like to know what caused it instead of "faulty loom".

Greate car, currently using any excuse to use it to try and build up the mileage.

IIRC I had no dipped beam, and whilst fiddling about, all the dash lights stayed on and the alarm wouldn't arm itself. Everything else (I think) worked correctly - I can't remember if the actual lights stayed on after switching off and removing the key. The dash computer stayed on as well - I could hear it whirring away.

It was cured by putting the dipped beam fuse back into the relay. I started the car a few times and everything was fine. It sounds very similar to your problem.
