I assume it can be done? Anyone done it or talked to the factory about it?

Would really like a T and was wondering if it might be easier / no more expensive than changing cars? I know my cars sorted so would prefer to keep it :)

If you look closely the roof aperture on a T is slightly 'lipped'. I think this would be a sod to recreate unless you cut the whole roof out and GRPed a Targa roof section in. Also the T has an extra bar along the roof inside front to back between the holes.

I also suspect the carbon fibre roof panels would cost a few bob to buy.

So, I would say sell yours and buy a Targa. Can't blame you for not wanting to do this looking at some of the prices of cars for sale (and not selling) at the moment.

I asked them to convert my T into a C.

They said no.

Just take a hacksaw to it - can't be any worse than the job the factory did on the first models.

Steve wants a T and has a C, Neil wants a C and has a T. Where's Noel Edmonds, looks like we've got a revival of the Multi Coloured Swap Shop here

The irony being, if I had bought a C instead of a T, I wouldn't have been driven insane by the wind noise and would probably have not sold the car....

C'est la vie.
