sagaris rear spoiler is just so naff.
Discussion
ok so we all know the TVR Sageris is the best looking car on todays roads
but that rear spoiler just ruins it for me.
as its clear you cannot see it so all you see is 3 alloy fins.
and the rake is so fearce it looks more like an air brake not a spoiler.
a shame a car so good looking can be ruined by one bit of plastic.

What if you want an aggressive looking car?
Personally I love the spoiler on the back. It's inspired, unique, original and actually useful - maintaining most of the excellent rear visibility of the t350. People take this aspect for granted. Have any of you driven a midengined car like a ferrari, lotus esprit or exige? None of them can touch the alround visibility of the t350, and thanks to the clear rear spoiler - the sagaris.

Blimey, I just re-read my post, apologies for the spelling! The coffee rush hadn't quite hit at that point!
Oh and before anybody says, i'm not slating the Sagaris, im just saying the T350 is better looking IMO. Personally i class the Sagaris as a kind of racing version of the T350, so its extreme styling IMO is track inspired due to it being developed in a wind tunnel and fettled. The 'added on' bits were never supposed to look 'pretty', but IMO were supposed to make the car look hardcore and tracklike.

That would be because it isnt a spoiler, its....oh I cant be arsed. Buy one, dont buy one, specify the spoiler or not, just dont come bitching on here when you throw it in the wall.

daftlad is being mischievious...cos he's just bought a Sagaris.....
Kmpowell, quite apart from being apparently totally pie eyed when he made his post
will defend his beautiful brand new T350 to the death and beyond and DJC......well....he's just being his usual self...
Thing is....you can't state on this forum that the Sagaris is the best looking car TVR on the road and not incur the wrath of the Tamora and T350 owners, who quite obviously think their own cars are the bees knees....
It's all subjective...beauty is in the eye...etc etc......we buy what we like...and if you prefer the spoiler removed.....do it.
Only I would respectfully advise you to look back and read a few of the most recent long topics on the Sagaris as there have been some very technical posts re the rear spoiler, which is on the car for a reason.
Should you decide to get one...we all look forward to seeing the pics.......

I have a T350C on loan at the moment (haven’t seen my Sagaris for 3 weeks but that’s another story
)
The T350 is definitely an awful lot less stable at the rear when cornering at 120+. Whether this is due to the different chassis or the lack of rear spoiler or both I don’t know. But I would be dubious about removing it from the Sagaris for fear of incurring a very high speed visit to a ditch. Remember the front splitter on the Sagaris is (theoretically) pushing the front down at speed so the back may become even lighter without the spoiler to push it down too.

Hi YP,
Not being mischievous at all, I really do prefer the looks of the T350. I prefer the cleaner lines of the T350 and I still think the ever so slightly bling Sagaris trys to hard to be something different.
Because of recent changes in what's available at the factory, and progress with another T350 I had ordered, I cancelled the T350 and ended up with a Sagaris my dealer had in stock.
Its not all about looks however, and I think I'm going to enjoy driving the Sagaris - more than the T350....lots more.

You sly dog! Are we last to know?
Bags first club passenger ride -
Hi Rich,
No intentianl cloak and dagger stuff, I just didn't want to broadcast the purchase - especially after being less than complimentary on the looks of the Sagaris.
I will be at Harewood on Sunday if you wish to blag a ride. Won't make the BBQ on the 11th as I'll be back at work.

Agreed!
However, as you have said, it's all subjective. I certainly dont dislike the looks of the Saggy, i just realise that it has more 'track inspired' looks compared to the T350. I also know that all the fins and wings and spoilers are there for a reason (it was designed in a wind tunnel and aerodynamics were added whilst testing, so removing or altering any of them would be just stupid IMO.

See, Im not the only one who has initially been sceptical of the car for some reason but has still decided to go for it!
Good on yer daft
