225 MPH, just before it read zero for the next 15 minutes and then woke up again. I guess I have the classic speedo sensor issue, does this sound familiar to anyone?

OH 170 in a 30 limit! (actual speed about 20 at the time)

Only difference my car is a Mk1 Tuscan, pod out and sent away for recalibration or similar!

Yes we have just started to get that problem, but we have done a higher speed than that, would you believe......275 MPH !!!! And the digi read out said the same, trouble is though we were in third gear doing about 30mph at the time, also getting the 'fuel sensor'warning on nearly all the time, and 'aircon fault' warning coming on more every time we use the car, but its had that fault now for over two years.

PS..(i'm wispering this)... my car is the yellow T350c just inside the cover of the latest sprint...shhhhhhh,

Mine started to die after driving in torrential rain for an hour. As I got home it went dead.

After several weeks (difficulty getting a new one) it started coming alive again giving some interesting readings. The best one was max speed (225) all the time even when stationary! Never seen an ODO increase so fast! It was obviously trying to catch up with the missing miles!

Then it started working reasonably normally just as I was taking it to be replaced!

Mine used to read 336 km/h when I transferred it to clicks on the way to Le Mans.

You're going to need a new speedo actuator I believe. Sits on the rear axle I think.
