Ok 400 miles on the car and im compling my list of things that 'I' think need to be attended to at the 1000 mile service. Alan told me to list EVERYTHING down, however seeing as its a handbuilt car, how far can i go?

e.g. The drivers door window rubber is a bit loose and needs popping in every now and then when the window is risen from being fully open. Can i put this on the list of things that need attending, or am i being too picky and should put up with things like that?

Cheers

No - it falls nicely within the definition of 'EVERYTHING' so just jot it down even if it's no big deal to you. If the dealer thinks rectifying it is not worth the bother/won't likely be successful and you should live with it, they'll no doubt tell you.

Don't put up with it - put it down!!
This 'fault' needs them to shave the door to create room for the seal so that the window does not pull it up as it rises.

Mine isn't loose. Therefore yours shouldnt be.

Put everything down. Also look for any paint blemishes and maybe save them all up for a few months until the winter when you'll notice the rear light clusters need resealing (hence only one trip to the bodyshop).

Don't forget any odd rattles. These cars don't rattle and clonk like the older models.

Or spray the rubbers with Mr Sheen all would the door and door, the window will go up and down much better and give a seal that rids you of that wind whistle from the front of the doors.... It will also stop the rubbers being pulled up.

How well do your roof panels fit??? If you get wind noise from them at 70 I'd ask the dealer to replace the think foam seal with a thicker bit, this makes it easy to get a decent wind noise free seal without hours of fiddling with the pannels!

Put it all down, every little niggle.

My dealer had a snagging list from me at 6k ,completed the lot and included something I had missed so I think north London haircuts are the finest.

Car remains solid-big step on from my Tuscan.

Engine is a dream-just gets better and better.

What a fantastic bit of kit
