Collected my Sagaris this MORNING!!
Discussion
I collected my Sagaris this morning after months of waiting!!I have been driving around a bit today (and what a glorious day it was!) The sound and feeling is just intoxicating... I live in London, and have had quite a few thumbs up, from young and old alike... I have found myself just walking around and around the car, looking at it from all angles...
I am so worried about parking her and leaving her unattended, although I live in a very safe area, and keep her in secure underground parking at night. I am still, terrified someone might key/scratch/bump into... her, especially when she parked in public... (has anyone had any issues?)
At the moment, I don't have a single rattle or squeak, do those develop over time?
I will post some pics soon... when posting pics, I have been told that I can only post pics once they have been uploaded onto another site, and then using the formating codes to link the pic... I tried this but the site I uploaded it to wouldn't work... Any recomendations for sites?

www.imageshack.uk is also good.
You shouldn't be reading any of these replies today tho. You should be out driving.

Big grin on your face? Mine doesnt squeak or rattle either and has impeccable town manners. How do you feel about the attention? I wont be leaving mine unattended in a British town for a while yet, though I left it in a field in Gloucs on Saturday quite happily and I wont really have any problems leaving it parked up in various towns in France in a cpl of weeks either. Although Ive had nothing but positive feedback and attention from the public, I still dont trust the Chav element not to do something expensively stupid!
Maybe not! DJC and I seem to have been thrown out of the 'growing band' by the 'meet' nazis. Apparently you're not welcome here on PH if you don't want to go to 'meets'!
I'd be careful what you say on here! I'm likely to get my sagaris covered in tomatoes if I ever turn up at one now!

WOW, what a response!! Thanks guys, I am going to try and answer all your questions together...
Starmist Grey, anthracite wheels, anthracite and mulberry red interior, with grey lamonta headlining and doors. It looks very 'mean'...
I live NW london, st. John's wood/ Maida Vale area... Hope to see you around too Steven...
Yellow Peril, was your car at the TVR Centre on Monday?
She doesn't have a name yet... I haven't really thought about it...
DJC, my face really hurts from grinning so much... I feel a little wired about the attention, I don't know if I should smile when being stared at or not... I tend not to, I have had many thumbs up to which I nod and smile to... Suprisingly, I had a few 'gangsta' type nods of appreciation from some chav type people on edgware rd... which was unexpected...
Thank you all for your engouraging remarks! I will post the few photo's I have... (no digicam)

Interesting interior, I can imagine the anthracite and mulberry work pretty well together. Ive cream and carbon leather with contrasting stitching on anthracite wheels and reflex charcoal.
My gf has patented "concentrating really hard on the mapbook" when we are stared at and I take a sudden interest in the digital readouts! Ive developed a kind of embarrassed smile and muffled "thankyou" to comments in service stations. I think Sagaris World is going to be a very interesting place to live for a while
Oh and the Sagaris does go over lowish speed bumps, I manage mine around the ones here at work, but detour round the b@stard bumps.

That couldnt be further from the truth as far as Im concerned - why waste the tomatoes?
The car sounds great Niro - I hope your worries about parking on the street are unfounded.
Do any of you new owners have a preferance with the seats now that they've gone to the Tuscan type? I've not seen them in the car yet as the one I drove had the originals.

That's not the case at all Pits......
You obviously haven't seen my post on the other thread.....

Sounds just like the attention the Tuscan got back in 2000 when new was unbelievable!! Just wait until you get pissed(and sober) blokes doing I'm not worthy bows infront of the car blocking the road!
Have fun!

What a stupid post. I've read the thread in question and you are completely misrepresenting what was said.
Have you been taking lessons from DJC in how to behave like a t
t? If so they were a success. Give yourself a smartie.

Today, I have been doing something similar when being stared at, which is playing with the radio!!
Cream and Carbon leather sounds really good!! I haven't seen a reflex charcoal in the 'glass fibre' but the photographs are amazing!
BTW How do you fill the sagaris with petrol without the pump stopping every second, or without it having petrol splashing back out??
I have managed to put 200+ miles on the clock, over the last two days, well one day really, I spent all of yesterday in London, and only drove her in the evening today towards Sunningdale, and then near Reading...
Behaves impeccably around town, and is an absolute pleasure on the A and B roads!!
Well, I'm going to attempt posting the pics now...

..
The trick with the petrol is ...patience.........and it helps if you position the nozzle completeley upright and then pull it over to allow a slight gap around one side.
As for the staring...that happens with most TVRs.....it's easy..........don't look away.....just wink and grin broadly at them as if to say 'yeah...it IS a great car isn't it' and you'll get loads of positive responses back...thumbs up...waves...claps........it's great....try it.

Er dunno, I failed that test also! First time I filled her up and I got a load of splash back. Thereafter I just eased off the nozzle and filled her up half speed or carefully.
I now come to and leave work the long way, an extra 5-10 miles and about 10 minutes, just so that I get 10mins extra of 50C+ oil temp running
