Water & Oil sensors

My water sensor is driving me nuts - readings vary from 102 degrees C to 117 .. within about 1 second.

I've topped it up and the fans seem to run.

Anyone know where these two sensors are - as I'd like to clean them up before ordering a new pair of sensors.

My oil breather pipe can off the air box - so deposited about 1 pint of oil here and there.. :( so might have got some on the sensor.

There are two, one at the from of the engine and one at the rear. The rear one feeds the fans and ECU and the front one the gauges. You have to take the airbox off to get to them both...

However, if you have an airlock in the system, this could also be causing the symtoms...
