Easy Sagaris bonnet adjustment
Discussion
This might be of interest to owners with whose access bonnets lift and bow in the middle at speed.
Mine used to lift really noticeable above about 80 and look as if it was about to pop out at 150.
I’ve just got my car back from the factory and they have adjusted the angle of the rear flap by about 10 degrees. Originally it was almost closed, now it’s slightly open. This seems to have changed the aerodynamics enough that it now longer lifts clear of the main bonnet. At 130 it still remains flush although it still vibrates a little.
This would be really easy to adjust yourself, just undo the bolt holding the flap in place, reposition it slightly open (about 10-15 degrees), drill a new hole and put the bolt back in.
I hope this will be useful to some of you.

Same deal, 75-80 starts to lift: picked Sag up from Henley on Saturday, drove up to York through all that crap traffic on the M40/M25/M1, and the monsoon weather, and drove up to Aberdeen for the Alford do Sunday morning. The inspection bonnet does leave a little to be desired, I'll post back when I've completed the post mortem, as it were.
