T350c Reliability?
Discussion
I find the more you use it the more reliable they are. I am on my 4th SP6 engined TVR and have done at least 14k miles on each, usually within a short period of time without any problems. The T350 I have now I use less as I have a second car for everyday and it is noticable that its not as smooth as when it was used daily.
My advice, use it a lot, remember to warm it up properly each time, and it can be as reliable as any other car.

Simon - do those mates have TVRs?
I 'hear' Alfas are unreliable too. Are they though? Some owners probably experience more than their fair share of problems. I would put TVR reliability on a par with something like an Alfa - shouldn't leave you stranded, but might.
I've done 12k in mine in 14 months and have had no mechanical problems. Beats our Audi TT which lasted 2,000 miles before needed (minor) attention. Also beats an old bosses new BMW 528 which he was well proud of. Until the gearbox blew up on the Autoroute just past Paris at least than 1,000 miles on the odo.
If you want as close to guaranteed reliability as you can get then buy a Toyota. TVR purchases are made with the heart, not the head, but they certainly are no unreliable.

ive had my T350 now for 18 months, and the only minor problem was pinking for a short while which has now been sorted, other than that its been great, so good infact im thinking of buying a new one.
Only reservation i'd have would be using daily doing lots of miles, i always like it as a 2nd car.
Are you thinking of buying new, 2nd hand from a dealer or private?

They are not the best build cars in the world, but neither will they fall apart just by looking at them which is what everybody who hasn't owned one will say.
Go and test drive one and you will see why everybody on this forum absolutely loves them. If the test drive doesn't really do it for you then don't get one. If it does, then you will forgive the car almost anything, even if it on a rare occasion it does let you down!

Ordinarily I'd say reliable. But.
Then again, all cars break so its the luck of the draw. Note: HHC will be doing the work on mine and are not quibbling to date about me pursuing the warranty route. The key here is making sure you have back-up from a decent dealer - to date I can't fault HHC.
