Hi Dave

I have used a cover from Hamilton classics
They are a good 5 layer outdoor cover

I always proceed with caution though, car needs to be clean or when you get wind the cover will cause swirls, I have left cars under covers before and I don't always think it's better than leaving uncovered, make sure you take it off and let it breathe

Especially with fibreglass , have seen some bad blistering in the past on TVRS from be covers

Thanks Baggie

Appreciate that. Hopefully just for a few weeks whilst i sort the garage! So that and the Chimaera are reduced to outside!

Rather than waste your money on a car cover, pay to store it until your garage is ready?

Agree with this. I had a waterproof outdoor cover on a Tuscan once, it caused hundreds of “pimples” in the paint. Never again!

I would use a carcoon type cover for that car without question

I have had both Strormsheild covers and the carcoon for cars that i just cant garage and the Carcoon as close as you can get to a garage

I once bought a "Sagaris cover", I forget from where but it was not cheap (like >£100), and it is clearly just a generic cover that the seller evidently tried on a Sag and said "yeah, that just about fits if you don't mind it not really fitting".

So I would tread warily on any cover you buy and check the refund policy carefully too.

edit: Plus, as others have said, an outdoor cover isn't ideal anyway. I agree with either a full Carcoon or else storage.
