Hi folks

after many months of reading on these pages, hearing the horror stories and just as importantly the joy of driving 'em i thought 'what the hell'. Traded in my mk2 exige and ordered a t350t in swordfish spec from gorners. I picked it up on Thursday afternnon and to tell the truth i haven't been so excited about anything since i was a child.
I will get some pictures up asap.

Just wondering, whats the quickest someone has managed to do their 1000miles in?

Oh and so far so good (touch wood) I keep looking at it to find something wrong, so far only found a slight wobble in the cut of one of the targa panels.

Right, time to go out for a blast whilst the sun is out!

Hi Raja

I'm sure that was your car sitting in the showroom at Gorners about a month ago when I picked up my T350c.
Looked great. By the time I brought may car back up to Scotland it had done 250 miles so i've already had the 1000 mile service & now I can open it up a bit. First class service from Gorners by the way. Could'nt do enough for me.

Picked up my T350 on a Saturday lunchtime and dropped it off on Sunday night with 1100 miles on it ready for it's first service...

Slacked when I got the Sagaris... that took four days.... lol

Yes deliberately We picked it up on a Saturday and had done 500 by Sunday night. It was great fun.

We have had it since Mid May and have now done 6000 miles. It is now booked in for the next service

Thats 24 hours at a constant 45.8mph.

I am assuming that from picking the car up, the only time you got out of the car before dropping it off, was to fill up the petrol tank.

Good for you and congratulations raja.

Our running in had been done for us, but the Sagaris will need it's 6000 service when we come back from BNG.

Nice to see you back posting again Mrs Triple S....

t350? A work of genius and one of, if not the prettiest car on the road. But don't expect it to be bomb proof. A few little things may fall off or start wobbling but chances are it'll be nothing serious and easily fixed. I imagine your Lotus was the same. I wouldn't expect it to be any better or worse than a Lotus.

I had two loti before my TVR and the first was remarkably trouble free. The second and more recent one was plenty of trouble.

I do think running in and warming up are very important for the S6 so I would advise being a bit patient with it. You'll be overtaking exige s2's by 4000 revs anyway! Enjoy!
