As a part of the annual Oltimer festival on the 17th of September we proudly present every TVR model ever made to the open public. As far as we know this has never happened. The festival is known to attract over 35K people and covers a wide range of cars. This year the Blackpool aan den Rijn boys hooked up with the organisation and were given an entire street to display every single model TVR ever made. Unfortionaly we do not have a Sagaris and a T350C yet. Who likes to come over with his T350C or Sagaris to join the display here in the Netherlands. The festival covers the entire day and a very special afterparty for every TVR owner that will show up.

DJC -- Maybe another time?

Meanwhile, the search continues...

I was at the Blackpool aan den Rijn meeting last night and there are currently x30 cars booked and confirmed, but we are still missing a Sagaris, T350 and Tamora. There are x3 spaces reserved, yet to be filled!!

…Is there really NO ONE who can make the Blackpool aan den Rijn event on the 17th September?? I know that it is a very busy weekend with other events in the UK, but without the above x3 cars, the event will not feel complete.

As far as we know there are NO Sagaris or Tamora outside of the UK.

I can promise anyone who attends that it will be a day to remember and that you will be looked after very well. If you can get to the event, we will take care of the rest.

If you are interested, please feel free to e-mail or call me directly for full details, as there is far too much to post on here.

Hmmm....tempting. I have to be in Holland for the following week, and may be able to swing it so I can come over the for the 17th. Will look into it and let you know - I have a Silver T350C.

I used to live in Holland for a couple of years (Leiden) but never dared to have a TVR over there, so it would be good to bring the T350 over for a blast. Where is the event - Alphen on der Rijn?

Yip, it is in Alphen aan den Rijn and if you can make it you will be very welcome with the T350C.

Cheers, Andrew

It has got the name Blackpool aan den Rijn because there are so many TVRs here. There are x6 TVR owners (x15 TVRs as most people have more than one) in my street alone!! I also live in the street were the event will take place! In fact distance to the event for me is about 5 metres, and my Chimaera is part of the display.

Were do you need to be the following week?

I would come. I would bring my lad as well. I only live 20 minutes from Harwich . BUT at £263 return fare, its a bit steep for a blast out.

WELL the T350C is confirmed and will be joining the display. A big thank you to ROWLSTER. I will contact you later today off line with all the details.

SO, Ladies and Gentlemen - the search is still on for the Sagaris and Tamora to join the display. (and any other T350 owners who wish to come along)

Anyone still considering whether they should or should not attend due to the location, please feel free to mail me off-line with your number and I will call you back with full details about the whole event.

Also, I have just been on EuroTunnel. They do a 24 hour return on that weekend from £30 - £51.

So, with ONLY 6 days left.... time is running out.....
