Picking up my new 55 reg T350C on saturday from TMS.

Mixed emotions really, looking forward to a new car, and 3 yr warranty, but will really miss my 03 T350C, as its a really sorted car and having just had the front resprayed for stone chips it looks immaculate.

I hope someone has as much joy as ive had with it and takes as much care too.

BTW the dealer has been spot on but ive used them for servicing for a few years, never any issues.

Role on saturday, but i'll take a slow drive there as i'll not want to part with mine.

Sounds like you are going to miss the "old" car.
And it looks like you realy loved her to bits.
So why change her for a new one, when you say that its a well sorted car, with a new front end respray, and looks immaculate. so why sell it???
Anyway good luck with the new car.

Dave, 1 word "warranty" mines out of the warranty now, so wanted peace of mind with the 3 yr warranty.
Its crazy when you think about it cars 2 1/2 yrs old done 9k and i'm changing cos i want a new warranty.
Well thats TVR i suppose, just wish it wasnt the case.

Never had a new car apart from work cars every 3 years, so looking forward to it in that respect, but not looking forward to the running in period, christ ive only done 3k in the last year. I'll have to get out more.

Hi Nick
I understand the reason for the change, as my T350C is two and a half years old, and out of warranty.
But my wife in her infinite wisdom, says "thats one hell of an expensive warranty", with the depreciation cost of the old car, and the extra cost of the new one, i can see her point a bit, don't you just love sensible women??
Post a pic as soon as you get the car.
Dave
PS..Are you going to the BNG this weekend?
PPS.. i'm more than a bit jealous

I went through all the thoughts you express, what really clinched it for me was i paid 32 for the car 18 months ago and got 29 as a trade in value, average 2k per annum depreciation.

Would love to go the BNG but got other commitments this weekend.

I ended up picking the car up this evening actually see my other thread totally gobsmacked!

I think if you get £28k and have done 19K that would be very good.

Most places I spoke to about a p/x on my Mercedes were suggesting I would loose £10.5K off list.in 2 months. That was on a C Class Diesel Saloon
