I've got a bit of a stupid question!

Im not going to be using my T350 for a few weeks and wanted to leave it on charge in the garage.

Can i use a normal batery charger and keep it plugged into the mains, or do i need to buy a specail TVR one?

Thanks.

I don't think there's any reason that you'd need a special one. My dealer fitted a smaller battery conditioned into the the car directly, in the little cubbyhole the toolkit should have been in. It works really well. I certainly leave it on charge if I'm away for over a week as the battery does tend to run down in the presence of alarms and trackers.

Any battery conditioner is fine, not a battery charger though - conditioners are designed to be left on.

Otherwise, just put the car on charge when you get back from hols. 2 weeks isn't too long, the car might even start anyway LOL

Rustler, I know its not a T350 but I recently bought an Accumate conditioner from those ever so nice people at Leven for my 500SL. Cost was around £60 for the conditioner, an extension cable, the fag lighter converter and a wall bracket.

Its a great bit of kit.

I can second that. We've three different Accumates and are left connected for months at a time. They all do the job really well. You can get them direct at:

Very nice people.
