To be honest im a bit tired of hearing/reading about Saggys and how ruddy wonderful they are, so I am starting this thread to show the world that there is another TVR out there.... a TVR which is IMO* sooooo much better looking and better performance VFM** [pic]http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/icons/12.gif[/pic]

*Before everybody goes off on one with a slagging competiton, this is all in MY opinion only and not meant to be a 'my car is better than yours' thread
**My opinion based on the fact I am currently driving a loan T350 with a 4.0 Tuscan engine in it (whilst mine is in for service) and i can hardly notice any difference apart from the fact it is quieter than mine.

Here's my Sapphire Pearl Targa, showing her clean lines and sexy curves, IMO* no Saggy even comes close to looking better. :cloud9:

Is it just me or is do you think the T350 is going to age a lot better than the Sag?

I think it probably will, due to being a cleaner shape. Sag is very dramatic, but quite fussy, and a lot of those details may "date"

Have they cured the pannels on the Targa yet. Last time I went in one, Im sure they were going to fly off, at 100 mph I could see daylight through the gap.

This was in a 2005 car also...

The T350 will wear better than the Saggy I think. The new Saggy has had some mods too to the bodywork, and I have to say . The Origional was much better...

Kevin you could eat your dinner from the inside of those alloys, though it would probably be difficult in practice. Top job and the car looks great.

RC T350 is also lovely.

What body mods to later Sagaris' are you referring to Mr Freefall?

Gary.

Blondemoment - what colour is that? Looks too 'pinky' to be spectraflair silver, but I may be wrong.

IMHO, the T350 is a real grower. I found it a little plain to start with (compared to the Tusc), lately I have started to fall in love with the shape.

IMHO, the Tuscan looks better in 'mid-tone' colours. The Tuscan 2 looks better in dark colours (anything that helps the rear lights and the front light surrounds blend in) and the T350 just basques in silvers and metallics.

Yum!

I think asking my wife to dress as a T350 was the final straw....

The only thing i can suggest is that the dealer hadn't fitted them properly (there is a specific knack and it takes a few mins)?

Mines an 05 car with the new seals and I dont suffer ANY wind noise(even at high speeds). I take a few extra mins to ensure they are re-fitted correctly, and bobs your uncle. I have been told the pods makes the car very 'batman' (which is quite cool), and the extra headroom helps me cos im 6ft 2.

The T350 is simply stunning. I was all set to go for a Tam (love having a soft top) but the more I spent in show rooms the more I fall for the T350 - so I'm plumming for the T top as a compromise.

Anyway, less chat and keep those pictures coming because I need help with choosing a colour. Blondemoment, what colour is that in your pics? Looks fantastic. Want to get a head turning colour and the chameleon paint certainly is unique. Actually, the chameleon paint seems fairly rare, any reason for this other than the obvious cost?

BM - I am realising just how long I have spent looking at and researching TVRs! To be able to know which colour it is, is just plain wrong. Without wishing to appear rude - I am surprised at just how 'pink' it looks. SS was the colour I was hoping to go for, but having seen those shots, I am a little worried. Is it REALLY that pink, os is it partly the exposure on the shots?

(I have seen a few, but most werre not in such brilliant sunshine)
