Just concluded deal on nearly new Sagaris..
Discussion
Hi Chaps and chapesses..
Have managed to get the best deal, I could on a nearly new Sagaris.:D
Car is Apr 05, Cosmos Blue with Portland grey leather, and blue stitching. Was thinking of a louder colour, but decided car is noticeable enough as is, (must be getting old ;) ), anyway in the sunlight, the car looks absolutely stunning and interior works well and is not too claustrophobic. Extras include, AC, painted seat backs, Discharge lamps.(are these same as Xenons on my CSL.?), electric lumbar, armourfend and battery trickle charger. Car has 1400 miles.
Cheers
Rob

a range of prices - cheapest i have seen about 44-45 K
so if you did better well done -
i am going to wait till next year and see how prices go.
have fun in you car if you see a tuscan crash into
the side of the road while your out its just me loosing control while oggling your sag

Some dealer pics of my car..
and before ya all say, "that's not Cosmos blue"
..had a change of heart overnight and have gone for the Brilliant Silver metallic, with Carbon black leather inserts etc.
On reflection am thinking long term better combo for wear and tear and residuals.
Thankfully Charles at Mole Valley let me swap cars and Silver car was 1k cheaper, still Apr 05 with 1900 miles.
Gotta sort out finance now..
Cheers
Rob
Another member of the Wish-Id-Bought-A-Porsche silver car club. Had high hopes for you with the blue!
First thing Im going to do when I become Dictator...ban anybody from buying proper cars who even considers the word "residual" in their thought processes. Stick to 3 series and Mondeos!

Congrats Kurgen , it looks stunning! It is entirely your choice if you you want to change the colour, its your money, not all of us on this forum do not have to feel the need to be so outspoken, just for the hell of it.
When do you pick it up?
Cheers Chris
I did love the colour of the Cosmos blue, but on close inspection the inside was not quite as crisp and pristine as the Silver car.
For me, the Sagaris has such an outrageous look, that you do not need to go mad with the outside colour, and both the silver and blue really highlight the shape of the body.
As I say, that is my opinion of Sag colours, and I admire everyone who has gone for extreme paint.. some of the paint jobs look absolutely fantastic.!
Cheers

The stuff of nightmares
Hi Kurgen,
Congratulations and I bet you won't get too much sleep till the weekend.
Hhave you already planned your trip to Scotland, cos you won't want to get out once you're in the driving seat!
Just taken ours to Castle for it's 6000 mile dose of TLC and miss it already.
Looking forward to hearing your views on the car...

Hi YP
Love your Saggy in that colour with the anthracite wheels..
this was one of my most loved toys
Should be in mine by weekend, just haggling over base rate margins.
What is the general opinion over sports exhaust, I think car sounds good enough already.?
Also anyone had their car dyno'd, am curious as to true bhp figs.?
Cheers

Hi Rob,
Yup...we used to have one of those....
Seems like once yellow is in the blood it stays there!!!
With regard to the sports exhausts....
Depends if you want to track the Sagaris.
As a road and track TVR it produces 99.9 decibels (holding 3000 revs) which is the limit at most tracks.
If you put an upgraded exhaust on her....it may well take her over the top at many circuits.
You will find that, although the Sagaris is nowhere near as intoxicating soundwise as a V8 ...it does have a great sound at around 60/70 ...just like a GT car.
Not been on a rolling road.....after all the hassle going on eleswhere wouldn't want to either.
Still each to their own.
