I don't know if its only me but some of the posts are getting just a bit on the pathetic side, I've read with some amusement thats my cars better or mine is faster it really is getting something of a turn off from what was a really informative forum. I just hope that all new owners get as much enjoyment from the cars as I do.

It would be nice if we could gel as a community rather than infight. This is an exciting time for TVR, let's enjoy it.

I quite agree, all the TVR models old and new, have tremendous appeal to any real PHer, so no need to bicker at all.!

Ted, btw, what is your view re- the separate Sagaris forum.?
Was going to express an opinion myself, but decided that as a returnee to forum, I should wait until I have some water under the bridge.

The majority of views about the seperate Sagaris forum were that if a bit of tongue biting was done occasionally, everyone would get on just fine and could share some experiences across the models to their advantage.

As one of the suspects involved over on the Sagaris bonnet thread I don't get it either Ted.

Being enthusiastic about all the cars TVR have on sale at the moment seems to be a problem for some.

If I really wanted a Porsche I'd buy which ever one I can afford then I'd spend my time on the Porsche forums saying how great they are. I don't much like Porsches much and I loathe BMWs but I've never posted a single derogatory remark on their forums.

I understand and respect that people who've had bad experiences with TVRs can take a different view but if they think the cars and the company suck why don't they just move on? And get that Porsche?

Can't remember many people slating TVR on that thread. In fact, I personally, have said nothing but good things about the Sag.

I do however not have blinkered vision, and can look at all marques & make a education decision.

Just because I own a T350 doesn't mean I think it is the best thing since sliced bread. It obviously isn't.

Still love TVR's though.

the hilarious thing is I like Hobo's car more than he does!

I have owned and driven more expensive cars and have come to TVR because they are the most involving to drive. Not because I can't afford a ferrari/porsche.

Hobo's car really is that good and really is deserving of a bit of a glowing write up. I know because I had a t350 for a few months. I won't deny there are reliability issues but I'm talking about TVRs when they're working. And my t350 was mechanically sound.

TVRs are better than 'good for the money' they're ffing brilliant.

Can't get my head round why this would upset anyone on a TVR forum?!

Wrong.

I love the T350.

The difference seems to be that I know there are better cars out there, albiet maybe not for the same money.

Well here's the problem: I think it's one of the greatest cars in the world at any price.

Sorry you'd rather I didn't.

Some days I think it's even cooler, by being more understated, than the Sagaris. There's not much in it in a straight line either - hey that's even backed up by figures too. And the bonnet is a better design too.

Then there are the other days. Given the high bar set by the t350 the Sagaris would have to be special to be worth the extra money. And it is, providing you like the looks. That's all the fans like me are trying to say.

Jeez Pits....I had to read this a couple of times to believe it as mentioned above ...ironic or what.....

Now...will you two kiss and make up and let's all move on.

I'm sure that people reading and looking in on the other thread can see both points of view.

I actually posted up that I left the Cerb forum as it was getting tetchy but that it's all calmed down now.....this afternoon I had some time so I took a quick peek back to see what my friends are up to and Holy Moly.......it's worse than before...threads locked all over the place.

We all love our TVRs.....that's the main thing......

Sometimes we have to beg to differ....

As long as it's done nicely...it's okay......
