I have just purchased a 3yr old TVR Tamora. It was registered in august 2002, and has done 14,000 miles, is silver, and has a full TVR SH.

I did read the TVR forum on the problems people are having with the TVR S6 engine. I must admit I was very nervous at first about purchasing a TVR. I wonder how TVR are in business!!!!!!!. Anyway I got 3 years warranty on it which includes engine rebuilds. So with piece of mind over possible engine rebuild, I took this beast out for a test drive. Wow!!!!!!!!!!! permit me to change my underwear. Its EFFIN awsome.

I have an MR2 MK2 at the moment, which is no slouch, but the TVR is something special. This is my last fling so to speak, before I have to grow up. All I have to say is, to own a TVR is an experience I will relish, its a fantastic car. Enough said.

Hi Ian,

Congratulations on your purchase. Where in Wiltshire are you from? I picked up our new Tamora on Friday from Peninsula and we are loving it to pieces.

There are a few of us in Wiltshire with TVR's now so hope to see you around.

Actually noise was the thing that originally put me off 2 years ago. However I don't think mine is too bad.

I'm quite often in Trowbridge to visit the in-laws - we'll have to do a mini-Tamora meet some time

I just spent ages filling my t350t up! not because it takes loads of fuel but because if i don't do it slow it spurts out everywhere. Keep some tissues with you or something. Hope u get some sunshine for roof down driving.

Hi. Congrats on the purchase. Where did you buy from and how did you get a 3 year warranty? That sort of deal would make a Tam just too much to resist.

I don't think it's a problem on the Tams, certainly never been on mine.

TVR must have felt the Tamora was too perfect, so decided to design some "quirks" into the T350

Yes I suspect that the very nice metal filler on the T350 is the problem.

We have to make do with a very functional (boring) filler under the boot lid. Mind you at least it is hidden away.

Alex the colour looks great on your Tam, drop us a line when your next coming down to Wilts.
