Front speakers
Discussion
Older cars had an optional pod mounted high on the door. I ordered 2 pods from the factory (through my dealer) - cost around 40 pounds to have them supplied trimmed in my colour leather. You have to be careful fitting them, but it is a DIY job. I fitted my original 10cm rear speakers into these pods.
Newer cars have small flat stylee speakers where they should be - in the door pocket area. I'm not sure how effective these are as I've never listened to them in anger.
You can get 12-13cm speakers in the back of the T350 with minimal cutting around. 6x9s fit with a few tweaks to the boot solenoid fitting.

In a word.... crap!.... I'm looking at ways of upgrading my front speakers now, but i dont like the 'pods' as i think they look cumbersome and tempting for thieves to easily smash a window in and rip out.
