Sagaris bonnet again.. hehe, no seriously.!

Was cleaning car this morning, and noticed drivers side main bonnet catch, slighlty higher.
This is the screw, where you need to use the special tool.
Undid both clips and lifted bonnet slightly, and noticed that one of the 2 allen key bolts had come out, and was laying in the water gulley.!
Tried to remove the whole bonnet panel, after removing service bonnet, but could not remove section from clips at the front. How is this held, it looks like metal dowel plugs slide into a recess.?
Anyway managed to refit allen key bolt, by lifting bonnet edge. Will be refitting with spring washers, once I figure how to remove complete bonnet.

P.S.. I do love tinkering with my cars, and this one is tinker city .:D

The front mounts are a sort of ball and socket so that if the back clips should come open (can't imagine that happening can you....lol) the bonnet is still attached to the car.... the back will still rise to roof height if you are travelling at speed though blinding you....
Anyway back to the clips.. you have to get you hand under the clips with both back catches open (with rag under then so the catches don't scrath anything, and then sort of push down and forward... it is fiddly but just pulling back locks them into the ball and socket... and it's even more fun getting it back on...

Cheers mate, will give it a go.
How did you get on with the sports exhaust, I do miss the Nov 5th soundtrack of my 350RR avec sports exhaust..

Very well in the end..... replaced the standard rear centre box with a pair of T350 sports boxes and then added some different end pipes with no sound deadening in them...
Similar volume to the 350 sports pipe but with a MUCH harsher edge to it... suits the car perfectly...
Any pics of end pipes.. who supplies the box and pipes.?
